Mid-Month's Most Marvellous

Hello friend, care to join me? Today I'm talking about my favourite things right now. In the middle of the month. What a rebel. They are all, unintentionally, pink and white or clear, so I feel like this post shall be quite aesthetic. Let's get started...

First of all are my Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes. I feel like these are really gentle towards your skin, especially around the eyes, as the skin around there is 10 times thinner than the rest of your face. Makeup disappears in one swipe, making sure that you don't have to scrub and scrub to get it off.

Next up is my Technic Natural Lashes Clear Conditioning Mascara. This has a light consistency and the applicator is brilliant for really brushing the product through the lashes from base to tip. It is brilliant for school since it is clear, and lasts well throughout the day. If you prefer a volumising/clumpy mascara look, this probably isn't for you.

The next thing I've been loving recently is the Tanya Burr Cosmetics Matte Lip Cream in Puppy Paws. This is such a beautiful peony pink shade with a hint of coral to brighten it up. The cream formula gives an easy application and is full of precision. I would make sure to put on a slathering of lip balm and line your lips before using this, as it can be quite drying and can fade at the edges.

I've also been using this Body Shop Lip Butter in Pink Grapefruit quite a lot. I already had the mango scent, which was quite creamy, but I think they may have changed it around. This butter glides on with ease, and has a slight scrub effect to it, to keep your lips nice and soft.

Another product I am in love with is the Yorkshire Soap Company Chocolate Fudge Cake Soap. I picked this up when I visited York recently and it smells SO DAMN GOOD. I don't think I can bare to use it, it's too pretty. This cost 5 pounds and it is well worth the money. I went in that shop every day whilst I was there, as this shop is only situated in and around Yorkshire.

The final item in my current favourites is this cake tin. I won this in a biology baking competition (GBBO here I come) and it is super cute and I think I'll use it to store memories and photos and little trinkety thinks like that. It simply says: "Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy you tea and cake and that's pretty much the same thing". I think if you live by this quote, you can't go far wrong!

So that is it for today's post. I'm officially on school holidays, so I might be posting a bit more frequently.
Thank you for joining me!
Goodbye from,
Today's Amber, Tomorrow's Probable Katherine
Xxx
