My Top 5 Fave Disney Films

Hello friend, care to join me? Today I'm going to talk through my most loved Disney films. Enjoy!

5. Inside Out
I must admit, I skipped the whole craze for this film. I didn't have time to go and see it and I thought I wouldn't like it. Bad move. All my friends gave it glowing reviews so I took the plunge and watched it (only two weeks ago, I hasten to add). I'm pretty glad I watched it though, my friends were concerned that I was living under a rock. Thanks guys!

4. The Aristocats
I have bloody loved this film since I was about 3, although after watching it recently I realised that I never actually understood the plot. Since I was unable to read back then, I couldn't understand the label "sleeping pills", therefore making the storyline extremely hard to follow. Ahhhhhh, I do enjoy watching back my old favourites.

3. Tangled
I love this film, as it was a magical escape from the horrors of the original fairy tale! I thought that Pascale was super cute ( I need a Pascale in my life) and I love to watch this one with my friends.

2. Beauty And The Beast
A tale as old as time (sing as old as rhyme, see what I did there ey ey 😉), Beauty and The Beast was one I would watch pretty much every day as a kid. The beast used to scare me a little, but I soon got over it. My mum used to get sick of hearing me sing!

1. Frozen

I love it. That's all. What else can I say?

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed!

Monday Motivation: Make It Happen!!

Hello friend, care to join me? I feel like being motivated is the key to success. And nobody feels like aiming for success on a dreary, wet Monday morning/afternoon/any time of day. So I thought I'd share a couple of my favourite "motivational" quotes and this damp Monday.

"If Plan A fails, there are always 25 other letters". - Admit it, we all get that feeling after getting something wrong first time that makes you go, "Ugh, I just can't get it right and I can't be bothered to try". That's where you are wrong my petit-pois. Just because you got it wrong doesn't mean you CAN'T get it right. It usually means that you are too lazy to try again, so you feel like a failure. There is always room for mistakes. Trust me. Especially if it's your first time.

"Fall down 7 times, stand up 8". -If we have a bad experience more than once it twice, we usually get over it and vow to steer clear of that situation for the rest of our lives. Let's say hypothetically that I wanted to build a house of cards. I build it three times and each time it hypothetically collapses into a heap as I am placing the last card. I hypothetically swipe the cards away in anger, and leave the room, not wanting them in my sight. If I were to listen to the quote, I would say, "Prove them wrong, defy the odds. I've fallen three times now, and this fourth time I'm going to stand tall and strong". And then this badass hypothetical me enters 15 house of cards competitions across the globe. And wins every one.

So that's only a couple, as I want to save them for future dull Mondays.

Relaxation At It's Finest

Hello friend, care to join me? I've neglected this space a little and I feel like I need to make up for it. Today I thought I'd share with you a couple of my ways to relax/de-stress/pamper my soul. This blog post is not sponsored in any way.

My first option is Kodi. Kodi is an app on my Amazon Firestick that I use to watch films, documentaries and TV shows. I like to relax by getting into my cosy pyjamas, making an Aero hot chocolate (the froth on top is the key to heaven) and curling up in front of the telly. I'll usually watch a Disney film if I'm in need of a pick-me-up, or a Harry Potter if I'm feeling the fangirl vibes.

My second option is (surprisingly) to stay away from baths (as lovely as a Lush tub can be). I always get stressed in the bath because I'll get in and I'll be too blooming hot after three minutes. Instead, I opt for a temperature-changeable shower, and play my relax melody.

The third option, which I can only do at my friend's houses, is to play with an animal. Since I have no pets *death stare at my parents*, I simply go and see my mates, play with the pets and usually sleepover. Whether it be a cat or dog, guinea pig or rabbit, fluffy animals are the way forward.

My final way to de-stress is to have a pamper night/sleepover/wakeover with my gal pals. You can do a sleepover your way, so watch horror films and prank each other, or rescue cats from the roof and dance to bit of Grease Lightning on the bed. I'm personally the latter, as I like to actually get some sleep at night rather than be dared to peep into the creepy garage next door.

Okay, so that is all I have for you today. I hope you enjoyed this post, and comment below what you do to relax.
